Isn't the G5 an assault rifle?

Anyway, in the world of GBB SMGs, KWA with their MP7s and MP9s seem to be the popular, and most loved. At least at the CQB games I've played.

^ This, very light and the kick is beyond superior.

I had a KWA MP7 myself aswell, it was very small and mobile. Just a hassel to take it apart :P. But, easily swapped with the CQB Bolt from KWAUSA to reduce the fps.

GHK G5 comes 340-350 fps ootb, with a AR Carbine Kit that brings it up to 390-400fps.

Comes down to personal style though.

Another good option is the WE SMG-8, similar to the KWA MP7, but cheaper in price.

quality and part support is still up in the air though. are the mags the same as KWA or are they WE? are they compatible? the smg8 is still fairly new, so until i see some solid reviews and see one in person, I'm leaving it out of my collection list :P

KWA MP9 is loud, small, light, and hella powerful. GET YOU ONE lol

I asked a local about the kwa mp9 and the only bad thing he had to say was that it is very inaccurate. I'm going between the mp7 and the mp9....Too bad there is not good ump option.

MP9? inaccurate? not mine... I'm shooting .28s and getting range and accuracy out the wazoo.... had three guys at the local field drop their jaw when I 'test fired' at the chrony range. course it's shooting like 450 fps XD i need the low power bolt XD for shits and giggles I put my ACOG on it and scary enough it actually worked, and got most of the other guys laughing at how hilarious it looked despite functioning almost perfectly. I was just too lazy to zero the acog XD

Don't bother with any VFC GBB's out of the box they are terrible. WE GBB's are better, assuming it's not a lemon.

KWA MP9 or MP7 are the best if you want a short compact SMG

GHK G5 is an amazing PDW for the price. Kicks fairly hard and it's very reliable.

I have the KWA MP7 and Kriss Vector and I would recommend the MP7 because it is the lighter of the two. Both are also accurate and fun to shoot.

Maybe you can have a look at a CAA Roni conversion.
I have a TM 18C in mine and another holstered as side-arm.
both uses the same mags so only one kind of mags to carry.
I'm about to put a longer tight bore barrel in the one concealed in the RONI to get some range/accuracy kind of improvement to get maybe near a full lenght GBBR while keeping the compact look of a SMG.
