Its airsoft, you don't need some crazy high end scope. Anyway.

high end? $170 is still well into replica pricing lol
I paid $160 for my SpectreDR
If you're looking at real steel performance optics, you'll be in the $600-$2000 range

I spent $240 on my scope...

But that's in Chinese Yuan. :P

In CAD that'd be around $40 which is actually quite decent.

Same reason people buy a $200 JG Bar10 and sink $500+ into it.

I think my scope was $70 bucks, and I love it. I was thinking of getting some kind of protector on it though just in case. Not to mention I use a 4x32 ACOG on my G&G F2000.... it's all personal preference and play style. I've seen a guy with a MP5 with a hunting scope on it....I don't know, I didn't ask lol

I just ordered an AIM 2x7x32 from evike. I will let you know how it goes.

Before that I was using a leopold clone 3.5x?x32. I dont know the high end of the magnification as I always had it set to lowest/3.5 I found 3.5 to be too much zoom most of the time and the eye relief was a pain. I am looking forward to a x2 zoom scope with a long eye relief.
