guys i just received the Co2 Charger (Mad Bull XC-03)
It came with a bag of o-rings and I am not sure how to assemble this thing. 1. There is a Large O-Ring (no clue where this goes) 2. There is a Medium O-Ring ( i believe this goes at the point where the Co2 vile will get punctured? I have it there now and it seems to fit) 3. There is a tiny O-Ring as well (i'm guessing this goes with the pressure release valve?) |

Google is your friend lol Here is a pdf of the unit. In the parts diagram the orings are labled so you can see where they go. "rubber seal" is the orings. It didnt come with instructions?

What instructions?

instructions for o-ring placement.
Are the o-rings that come with it extra? I'm really finding it hard to find where these have to go. In the manual all the o-rings they identify are already in place. I am assuming i don't need to completely disassemble this thing? Last edited by Bar1975; June 11th, 2013 at 14:36.. |

Id imagine they are extra orings if you see that they are alrdy in place.
Give it a lil silicone oil and test that bad boy out.

ok so just tried it out... WOW... the difference is night and day between Co2 and Propane.. my ears are still ringing!!!
I have one small problem now though.. the King Grenade worked like a charm as i expected it would but i foolishly filled up a cheaper grenade that came with the launcher with Co2 and now i can't discharge it at all!! LOL.. it's clearly not meant for C02 so i wont do that again.. but how can i discharge it? The pressure is too tight for me to push the primer. (It will not fire in the launcher or with me pressing it with my thumb) Will the pressure reduce if i just let it sit for a couple of days? total newb to gas grenades.. oh well. |

Release pressure via the fill valve with a small screwdriver or something else small n hard like a nail.
In the futue the cheap nade can use co2 just at lower pressure. Try 200psi (simaler to propane) then tfy slowly raising it till u find what the max is itll work then run it 20psi lowwer then the max it works at to provide a buffer for hotter days

wear a glove and eye pro when doing that. i'm guessing you charged it with full pressure if you cant blow it by hand which could be as high as 6-800 psi of liquid co2. avoid the chance of frost bite

ok .. thanks for the advice.
In regards to controlling the pressure.. when i insert the Co2 cartridge it automatically fills to about 8-9 PSI on the meter. How do i set it up to go down to 200PSI? Turning the pressure valve doesn't do anything.. i've read that you need to turn it.. then release the pressure? So if i tighten it up.. then release the pressure it will pressurize again but only t the lower amount i set with the valve? |

200psi is too low for indoors I tend to fill them to about 300-350psi and outdoors no more than 700psi for assholes is as much as 850psi but that will ruin your firing pin in your launcher unless its steel, make sure you lube the orings after each game and DON'T LEAVE YOUR NADES LOADED!
