Naerah, well, gun that I worked on had metal box. By white plastic I meant all parts that TM makes out of black plastic, spring guide, tappet plate etc are made out of white plastic in that box. Other than color, everything is identical to TM.

K thx Coma, was wondering why i didnt saw that anywhere on the multiple airsoft site i visited. 666 im really thinking then that your friend just been very unlucky and should have returned it to buyairsoft.ca for an exchange, but now that you opened it up i dont think he can anymore.
