KJW 1911 magazine vs TM 1911 magazine question

Hello,

Just placed an order for an ARMY R28 1911, should have it in a few days...

I am aware the stock mag is garbage, and am looking into where to get new ones, either KJW or TM though?

I found a place that has KJW ones on sale and in stock, where as i'm having a harder time finding TM ones that are less than $35 a pop. How are KJW mags compared to TM? I know alot of people swear by TM and it's among the best for quality but if I'm unable to get my hands on some TM mags, I do at least want four magazines for the 1911.

Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

KJW mags are going to be what, $5-$7 less per piece? I'd pay that difference and get TM mags. I used to own KJW M9 with 2 KJ mags and 1 TM mag. TM mag always worked while KJ mags not so much. I wasn't impressed with KJ fill valves and performance in general. Sometimes mags would fill up and work fine, other times gun would go "bang, bang, pop, pop, nothing", or it would start leaking all of a sudden. I had to replace fill valve/mag plate o-rings and reseal mags on regular basis. It sucks when you go to a game and don't know if your pistol will work...

Since we are talking about overseas prices, KJW mags are roughly 25-30ish. Where TM mags seem to be $35ish. At those prices just pay a little extra and get the TM quality.

But KJW mags arnt all that bad. They are not as good as the TM mags, but I have a lot of TM and KJW mags since I game a 1911 now. And I have to say when gaming I cannot tell the difference between mags.

Yeah it's coming from the states, so I'm probably only going to be able to buy two at most right now. Silver or black doesn't really matter, in fact even though I prefer black I might get the silver so if the paint wears it won't be as noticeable on the magazines if it's silver. That's something that drove me nuts on the PX4 was the paint flaking off.
