Holographic sights and GBBRs
I'm thinking of picking up a WE SCAR over the summer and have a question regarding sights. I've heard that the recoil of a GBBR can be enough to upset the zero of certain sights. Are there any replica sights that are known not to lose their zero with GBBRs? Or am I out of luck and have to buy a RS sight?

Honestly i have used a Huang 552 on my we for over 2 years. Never lost zero. I also have used it on my Just right carbine(9mm) and it never lost zero. But from what i know, its a hit and miss. Gbbr's are usually not that hard on cheap sights.

I have two 552s from Toronto Airsoft. Both have held zero and are still kicking on a M4 with RS buffer, steel bolt. The adjustments are mushy though, the one I bought just now is perfectly spec'd for an RS rail, the older one from a year ago, not so much.

well, instead of making another thread i might as well post it here.
i have a few questions for all those hurricane users on gbbr(only). especially for the 553. 1. how long have you been using this sight on your gun? 2. what platform, brand, and how heavy is the recoil of your gun? also how hard are you on the trigger? 3. what are the issues/problem you encountered so far? e.g., fitments, off centered reticule, etc. 4. for the one's that failed, how long did it even last? is it fixable? i know glare is a common issue with most replica but can we use those anti-glare, protective shield that is use on cellphone and tablets? i am very close from getting this so i need some input. thanks. I've had several models of Replica Eotech sights.. even the Hurricane which is about the best one you can get ended up crapping out on my GBBR ( of course I've had a couple shot out as well )
so I stopped screwing around and got a real one. no glare, no shaking itself apart.. holds zero, and I can use it on my RS as well. save up double the cost of a good replica, and buy a real one.. you will be glad you did.

Like Brian said. Real = real.
No recoil issues. Tons of used ones on here in the classified for fair prices. Also the real reticle is so much better than any of the copies there is no comparison.
