Well the injury is to induce shock mostly on how gruesome the war wound really looked like.
I think this is a really good training for soldier....looking back at how our troops are train we look like we can't afford anything, but we can pay it in lives instead.

I didn't hear anything about PMCs training there, though I could have missed something.

That and given that the cost would be *very* high per player, you would want participants who stay in character and play the simulation properly. Stuff like this is high fidelity in part because of the realistic responses of the participants. You would also need the skills those soldiers have in order to make the simulation work, and that means training and most airsoft players aren't willing to put that kind of work into their past time. A lot of people underestimate the time, energy, effort and skill it takes to do that sort of stuff.

Ye no kidding. You are definitely right Stryak. It would definitely be a sight to watch though lol.

I know one thing for sure, I'd be up to the challenge of something like that.

They actually do a set-up like this at British Army Training Unit Suffield, about a 30 minute drive from where I live.
