i was target shooting my gun then, the trigger got a little harder to pull and then there was no resistance in the trigger. what happened to my motor?

Nothing to do with your motor at all.

Sounds like something went awry with your trigger/switch assembly. Full disassembly is required - bring it to a gun doctor if you have no idea what you're doing.
