RS SVD stock cracked :(
DO you think glueing the piece back in and clamping it will do the trick?

generally glued wood is stronger than the surrounding wood, but make sure you remedy whatever broke it in the first place
|

you can see in the photo a nut in the stock. Behind the piece that broke off a bolt threads into that nut. When the player useing the rilfe fell it flexed and blew that piece off
