I'd say stay away from revolvers, period. Avoid them until you have all the gaming guns you need, then worry about them.

HFC is hit or miss, mostly because of poor QC and workmanship.

KSC (also available as KWA) make some of the most widely fielded, gameable pistols.

Personally, for a first pistol, I recommend going with the KISS principle and getting some sort of TM Hi-Capa (or clone).
