Make a search for Cansoft or read the 007 website about the clear plastic lower receiver thing.
In short, some reputable airsoft makers now produce a clear or semi clear version of their AEG. The quality is said to be medium, as in, not as good as TM, but not quite as shitty as Canadian tire softair guns.
Some entirely clear guns are still very very low quality and even a noob should not buy it.
