Buffer tube depth

So, I'm planning on running a trigger master and lipo on my MRE build. I was planning on using this battery in the stock JG buffer tube that I have:

The problem is that this battery is 12cm long and the buffer tube is only 10cm deep. Now the JG buffer tube is one piece casted metal. The "Nut" (I don't know what else to call it) that mates to the receiver where the buffer tube would screw into on the RS is actually one piece and molded to the buffer tube. Because of this the buffer tube attaches with a screw through a metal washer on the inside. This washer is what causes the tube to only be 10cm deep. So basically what I want to know is, are most airsoft buffer tubes like this or do some of them actually come in two pieces where the tube screws into the "Nut" on the back of the receiver. And also if you know the depths of any specific brand of buffer tube could you post them (a long shot I know). Thanks in advance.
