It looks freaking bad-ass. I'd never use it though...I would just scratch and bang the crap out of it.
I really like the detailed vertical cuts on the rear sides of the slide...just beautiful.
And the recessed groove along the top edge of the slide where it hits the rear sight. Just a hair more so it was flush with the sides of the bomar sight would have been sweet (but the sight probably wouldn't hold then...it wouldn't be held on by much).
I couldn't see it in the pics...but did you do anything to the rear of the slide and sight? i.e. horizontal lines?
My slides do the same thing...if you let it forward gently you can get it to stay...but mine is usually a little forward, with, as you said, a little frame rail sticking out. Maybe Illusion or MadMax knows a fix. Doesn't bother me...but then again, I beat the sh*t out of my working stuff.
