That's one lucky find. Obviously the pawn shop had no idea what that thing was worth and probably basing its value on what they see at Cdn Tire and Walmart.
I would think that if you can clear both sides of a pop can with it, it's probably been upgraded. TMs are usually around 280 fps stock. When my TM M4 was stock, it couldn't even come close to doing that. Even my stock CA M15 shooting at 310 wouldn't go through both sides. It would come close, but couldn't break through.

+1 to that. If it's in good, working condition, you can sell that for 4x that much (probably more) if you don't want to keep it.
