Well, was doing some mechbox repairs, and went to plug in the battery. A few little blue sparks flew, and the battery seemed dead (when it had been working 10 mins earlier). I plugged it into my charger, and it started making some crackling noise.

I promptly unplugged it from the charger, and after 10 mins the crackling noise subsided, but I'm afraid to plug it back into the charger.

Did I ruin my battery or what?
