Hop up is acheived by the rubber nub creating friction on the top of the BB to give backspin. That friction slows the BB down a bit (ever notice that your guns chrony higher with no hop up and drop in velococity when more hop up is set?), but because you nulled your hop up rubber's friction, you chronied higher.

A fix? Buy some white lithium grease from Canadian Tire (generally near the automotive department, I've found it in with all the garage door opener stuff), $5 for a tube, take your cylinder out and wash all the parts with dish soap and warm water, then put a reasonable amount of grease all around the piston head, reassemble, clean the inside of your barrel, then shoot it a few dozen times, that should get your hop up rubber working properly again. And use heavier BBs, your range and accuracy will increase, I'd say go 0.28g to 0.30g.

thx man, that;s what i thought too

i use .28 too, but ran out of it. agree that it shot much accurate
then lighter bbs.
last time i ask BBBastard, they dont have .28s in stock
will buy some soon
