I quit airsofting ~9 years ago and sold my guns (which i now regret) and recently i'm venturing back into the sport.

I bought a TM M4 S system (new).

Back when I was playing M4 and the M16 variants all had serious problems with build quality and the parts vibrated causing additional wear. I understand that the newer models have solved this issue. However I am very rough with everything I own, (I've destroyed 2 tough phones and a tough book). As with my older guns want to upgrade to include as much metal as I can.

However, i've read that the S system does not share any components that make it compatible with the billions of M4/M16 Metal upgrades. Is this true? and if it is where can I find a conversion kit, as the HK retailers don't appear to have them.
