both companies make nice sets and since they are either genuine or licensed by crye, you know the quality control is there.
i guess its a matter of perference, i find tru-spec more comfortable to wear since its lighter and softer out of package.
with propper, the fabric is heavier and harder at first but im sure it'll losen up after a couple skirmishes or washes.
the darker shade on propper can be thought of as fade compensation over time i guess.
I have only tried my pair of propper once for like 2 minutes so I have not washed them or wore them in. infact they still got tags on them hehe..
but if you want, i can take pictures of both bdu sets and you can compare the colour yourself. my tru-spec pants is still brand new and havent been washed it'll be a nice comparison new out of box.
