I was not saying that you should depend on FAQ and pictures alone. I said you should have someone show you at least once. It saves a lot of headaches.
And even then it's not a good idea to want to upgrade a gun that needs no upgrading. But that's your choice.
If you do upgrade it, you only need two things: A mild spring, and metal bushings, plus a bit of skill. The bit of skill comes the easy way (being shown) or the hard way.
The hard way can result in broken pieces or a gun that is screwed up. That means you return to advice #1: go meet an expert anyway.
