Even though the Phantoms say Cordura, I have a feeling that it is 700 Denier. I have a bunch of real steel gear from companies that include: HSGI, Original SOE, Emdom USA, AND Eagle Industries. My CIRAS replicas (Multicam) are made by Phantom but the material feels pretty different. It is more pliable and looks almost faded from the real deal. While I am not doubting that it is Cordura, I dont think they use 1000D stuff like Eagle.
That aside, Im sure the same cleaning techniques will apply...I used to play paintball and dont ever recall the paint flaking off once soaked into material. I usually had to soak my jerseys in soapy water then rub vigorously with my fingers to get it out.
