You might wanna try some of that non-stick self-adhesive tape. They have some in ACU. Haven't used the camo one but I've used the white stuff for years (it was originally sold as bandaging material; very useful on pets). Anyway, dirt eventually clings to it a bit, but it won't stick to or leave sticky residue on whatever it's wrapped to. And it's reusable.
