You can get the same results by pointing with your supporting hand's thumb. They both work pretty much the damn same

.. Plus, I'd rather have that extra finger supporting the pistol, when firing .45 +p loads-one handed.
Also, I've never heard of this style in any of my "how-to" books. This may be an effective style with low power loads, but when it comes to heavy loads, and quick trigger pulling, I'll take Mr.Lawrence's (Former-Delta. Founder of "Blackheart Intl." ) advice.
