ye i did that, hyper compressed it is what i call it. all i did was held the brass cup upside down with a pair of needle nose pliers and beat the back with something else to shock it loose. it will work, but be careful as the spring will pop out and its tiny and black, very easy to loose, and specific lol. another methode is get a tiny pair of needle nose and get the tips inside inbetween the cup and the poppet peice and pull out, but thats if you got a small enough pair.
i had a hell of a time intalling this myself, what i did was set it in place on the new barrel, slid in the inner barrel, and then used a bent saftey pin to coax it down and out of the way for the rest of the barrel to slide in... make sense? lol.
