don't forget to use a good high strength thread locker. If you don't the screw could vibrate free. I use Loctite Red and never had any problems with it and have done a good dozzen mechbox's this way.
Oh ya, after you drill and tap, be sure to use alcohol or some other grease remover on the hole to make sure you wash away all the grease/oil etc from the hole so the loctite holds securely.
