I use propane on my tanaka m700 A.I.C.S for over a year now with no problem. But the m700 and there kar 98 may be built diffrently. When I look at the build of the m700 the most thing I think will be damage from the pressure is the magazine and the nozzle but that's it. I like propane a bit more than 134a since the expansion is faster I found but that may just be me.
