News to me. Guess I'll have to rethink my full time use of an MP5 for outdoors the past couple years.

Upgraded, an MP5 is as capaple if not more than pretty much any other AEG. Stock, with 0.20g, yes it's frustrating because it doesn't punch through brush at all well, even when upgraded and still using 0.25g. Upgraded to 350-360 and using 0.25g, it'll punch brush with the best of them, and still score you 150ft kills if you learn the ballistics of airsoft BBs.
I don't know what it is about the MP5, but it's damn accurate compared to other guns I've test fired. Recall trying and repeatedly upgrading a G&P SPR and test firing it in my basement (30ft range), at first, out of the box, it'd get paper sized groups (as in 9.5 x 11"), and after much part replacement (including 6.03mm tightbore) and tweaking, I got the groups down to about 3-4" at 30ft. My MP5, stock and after I upgraded it, repeatedly puts low caps into the 2" circles of my targets.
