I already did that with mine. I put a prometheus tightbore 590mm into it, and it boosted the effective range by about 20 or 30 feet. The groupings got a little tighter as well, but that's about it. |
an extra 20-30 feet isn't bad though at all though. Very nice. If i had the money i'd just buy the STAR L85 A2, seems like its probably the best Airsoft gun around at the moment in terms of balance.
Speaking from experience of using the real thing though, fighting in urban areas can be a main in the arse with the L85, its overpowered at short ranges and too big to easily move through small buildings, fine in warehouses etc. Also its inability to be fired left handed makes it less prefereable in buildings.
