accuracy will remain the same as it is not dependent on fps. So long as you do not change the barrel, your accuracy will remain the same.
A velocity reducer is a temp solution, but I hear it can change accuracy(BBs pushing through a rubber wall after the inner barrel).
the safest and easiest way to decrease the FPS is changing the spring. Very easy to do.
