From my own experience, short barrel equals huge flash. The flash is caused by burning powder and escaping gas, so what ammo would it be that makes a difference one way or the other? You could underload your ammo to reduce the flash, but then it's not really different ammo, is it?

edit- I just spoke with someone who owns one of these (yes, a real socom16) and he confirmed what I said.

All that aside, still a cool piece :nod:
