From those photos you provided of the PPCLI guys and the pictures I've seen on the DND Combat Camera site - to me it still clearly shows that TW CADPAT ain't the best choice for Afghanistan. MULTICAM or SpecAm Arid would be better. Whilst the TW CADPAT wasn't as obvious in that mountainous terrain, it still wasn't that great either. |
MultiCam an SpecAm are not the camoflage in use with the CF so they won't be worn.
TW CADPAT uniforms were being produced before 9/11; up untill than there was no rush to make AR CADPAT.
TW CADPAT was the only uniform available, so thats what they wore.
