Using mine at work was bonkers. I was blowing snow off of sidewalks with a leaf blower and the engine noise was cut out nicely, but I could hear the air moving the snowflakes around.

Also note: The life expectancy of two generic AAA batteries is about six hours. Use premium batteries.

Also also note: These headsets are known to be great for mid-high spectrum db reduction, but are only "better than nothing" for extreme lows and pressure differentials where sound will conduct through your skull. They should be used with the addition of foam plugs when shooting very large caliber weapons, operating heavy machinery from an open cabin, or going Roadie with AC/DC for extended periods of time.
