If/when I get a set of impact pros my plan was to use it with my Code red signal 21 shoulder mic. Its a solid piece of gear for a good price and used by real law enforcement. The code red shoulder mic (and most other shoulder mics) has a 3.5mm out which can hook directly to the impact pros. Alternatively you could run the shoulder mic with an earpiece for a more discreet look (what I currently do), or run the shoulder mic on its own if comms privacy isn't a concern.

Any Baofeng (Pofung) radio would be a good choice and is what a majority of people use. UV-5R. UV-82. Some of the newer models look yummy too.
