Basically, it's an ANVIS mount which was part of the contract by EXELIS when providing F5050's to forces. Since it was kind of a one off item, I can't really locate the exact manufacturer EXELIS used for the part. F4949's are ANVIS-9's and F5050's are PVS-23's (uparmored ANVIS-9's) used by CANSOFCOM.
Recently CANSOFCOM has been replacing all of their ANVIS mounts with the
Wilcox Ground Spec Goggle Mount (GSGM) which was designed for GPNVG systems, but is backwards compatible with most Ball detent mounts such as those present on the F5050(PVS-23).
You can find older
ANVIS style mounts in the cheap bin because they typically require an external battery to run (Unlike the GSGM) or they were replaced by upgraded mounts such as
Adam Industries Surface ANVIS Mount
What really sets your mount apart from others, is that it comes with a ground mount adapter already installed. This allows the mount to be used on USGI helmet interfaces out of the box. Definitely a cool little bonus.
