I think it was the A&K box that had room to run a large battery in it
As I recall, the CA para had the battery just under the barrel in the front handguard.
Still don't know if the torque or speed method is more efficient yet, BUT I know for a fact if you use a ferrite magnet motor, mosfet, and some nice heavy 22-26:1 gears, you should be getting around 7BB/mah. I guess you don't have the option to run a mosfet, without some modification or a better switch, but maybe you can get close anyway.
With the way my 249 is set up, I could do a 24hr op off just a 2000mah battery and have plenty of juice to spare.
Either way you should be able to either find a 2000mah pack that fits in the front handguard or a box mag that takes a large battery. My old PEQ-15 battery box fit both a 7.4v 1600mah lipo AND a triggermaster, so as long as you can find a larger battery that takes up most of the room in it, you should be able to get 2200-2450mah to fit in it.
