If you fix those cold solder joints and get the wires all terminated nicely again it'll work for anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 years before the crappy switch goes or the contacts bend. I've spent a lot of time farting around with knock off crap and will never do it again.
Personally I'd buy a real setup and spend the time you would have spent farting around with this and use it to sit outside and drink beer with your friends and chat with girls.
