the umarex UMP is made by Ares and uses proprietary mags. the Classic Army UMP is a clone of the G&G version. so any G&G UMP mags, you can use with your CA UMP. but the Ares/umarex mags won't fit the CA/G&G UMP.
i have also tested this out at my friend's store with a CA UMP and Umarex UMP, the mags are not interchangeable. i own a CA UMP myself, and i wish they made mags that has the dummy rounds for the CA UMP too
