Thanks Cokeman for the link. I've paced out my accurate range on my friend. Like i said before 80 fts is accurate, 100 is effective and sure my bbs go 150-175 maximum. I am not talking maximum for the guys who say they hit at 250 feet. When i say accurately, i am talking about proper hop up adjustment and point of aim is point of impact. My hop up units are fine. This post is not about improper hop up adjustment or broken hops ups. It's about the effective range of an AEG with a heavier spring and shorter barrel then my VFC SR16. There is a point when the AEG is useless regardless of the maximum range.
My point is if the 210 inner barrel, with m130 spring at 430 fps will produce similiar results as above. I have an ICS MP5 A2, inner barrel 229, with a M100 spring going 320 fps with .20s, which is my indoor AEG. That is good for 50 ft accurately.
Just wondering if the G&G MP5 SD6 with the heavier spring and shorter barrel will get same results as my VFC which has a m110 and an inner barrel of 340mm. I like the MP5 series and i want to dedicate this version to outdoors only as a back up primary.
