Makes sense.. couple of things have me question this.
Looking as close as I can at the G&G website, the TR series looks like they are anodized or just straight painted. The coating doesn't appear thick like the powder coat MAX. But that is just the way it looks to me. An owner should be able to confirm.
The MAX line is "advertised" to have silver wiring and reinforced blah blah etc. Most of the TR series lacks this fancy advertising. Is there anything to that? Dunno, but it makes me wonder.. which is why I asked the question.
The MAX was always over priced, and G&G for various reasons has been under represented in Canada. This makes getting decent information regarding a factual (A/B) comparison difficult (thus far).
