In the Toronto area, Canadian Tires don't have very many cases like that. But as you head north, or east, where hunting and such is more prevalent, you'll find a lot of cases, for pretty low prices. Even walmarts, and other such retail chains have them, as you head out of the city.

I don't know where you're located, but if you're having trouble finding some cases in sporting stores, you may need to head out of the city.

But that's assuming you just want a carrying case. You can spend quite a bit more and get a nice Pelican case or something. You know, in case feel like going swimming with your gun case or something. =)
