We chrono everything at claybank cause we know damn well some pistols are over 400
YOU are running the game, if YOU feel it's necessary to implement the rule, then it's YOUR decision being made to keep others safe.
Out here it doesn't matter because everyone runs stock green gas pistols that are all 280-330fps. If we had an influx of high power CO2 pistols, I'm sure we would implement a 350fps cap for pistols too.
