Don't use speaker wire or any kind of "stiff" wire. Those are great wires if you want to develop a short. This also goes for the stuff you find in most electronics stores and even some hobby stores. If it isn't as soft as a wet noodle, don't use it.

You should be using the wire sold by Hobby King, or the stuff Stealth sells in his shop. That type of wiring is great. Rewiring the JG G36 is a great idea, since the stock wiring is absolutely terrible and forces you to pump current through no fewer than two Tamiya connectors.

By the way, if you're already in Stealth's shop buying wire and really want a sweet upgrade for your G36, I recommend grabbing that small-type SHS high torque motor. Properly shimmed, and fed the right amount of juice, it is a superb motor with excellent response.
