WE SCAR GBB Closed-Bolt Hammer and Trigger Disconnect lever issue.
I purchased a WE SCAR-L GBB Closed-Bolt second hand. It has a couple of issues, but nothing that can't be fixed with the right parts and hopefully a little advice from you guys.
Currently I'm about to order a new Trigger Disconnect and Hammer for the Trigger assembly as the trigger becomes "Stuck" on semi-automatic fire. This appears to be a pretty common issue with the gun and is a result of the trigger being engaged(Held in by the user) while the bolt carriage is sliding back and priming the trigger for the next shot.
I've seen other places that suggest "Shaving" the two connections where the trigger and disconnect meet, though that's a very touchy fix to make as too much results in the gun being unable to properly latch.
Another issue that I'm currently having, though very sporadically, is that sometimes within Full Auto, the hammer will become "stuck" on what I believe is called the "Sear", it's a small spring bracket right above the selector bolt in the trigger assembly. It catches on a small lip on the back of the trigger-head. Is that the purpose of that lip or should that be shaved as well?
Thanks!
