I run both firefox 11.1 and 7.4 v AK stick battery and they fit no problem. I did have to shorten the wires a little bit when changing the connectors to dean. There was some bunching of the wiring when pulling the bolt all the way back, but there is no need to pull it all the way back to adjust the hop up
