Doesn't work since you're neglecting the gap above and below.
Go lay prone with glasses on. Try looking down range. The majority of glasses will not protect your eyes and you will be sighting your rifle with a naked uncover/unprotected eye. Not worth the loss of an eye.
For people with prescription, spend the money on goggles with RX inserts or consider contacts. The regular JT's do fit over most prescription glasses and many use this method with an anti fog agent.
Go search for the user Duckman and inserts.
Also, just because something is rated better than what is required for airsoft, doesn't mean it will be accepted where you play.
