Airsoft Canada - View Single Post - Age Verification for Immigrant/Non-Citizen

Hello everyone, I didn't find an answer to my question in the FAQ and decided to post here.

I will arrive in Canada this coming March 8, 2012 with my Mother. We will be staying here for financial reasons and for a chance at Canadian citizenship. Now I'm not new to the airsoft scene, I've been wargaming for a year here in the Philippines and I know how the whole airsoft concept works.

By April 2012, I'm going to be 18 years of age and I plan to be age verified. Question is, can immigrants be age verified and allowed to join airsoft games.. or does that only apply to Canadian citizens?

If the latter is true, then I'm going to have to wait three years :-(
Also, We'll be staying at some place called Surrey (Spelling?) In Vancouver.
