Going to go with an aftermarket hop-up rubber for now and see if I can modify the arm of the rubber or something for better contact. I'll do the TDC if I absolutely have to though.

Oh, you might want to check it out, my friends said the V1 definitely sounds louder than the V2 in a game, but I never notice it, in a room, V2 defo louder, not sure outdoor though. Sounds in KJW have always been a great factor for me owning it, maybe you also want to check it out. Are you getting the RAtech ones or the falcon ones for the rubber?
