Butane is NOT "Red Gas". In fact, it's quite the opposite.
"Red Gas" is CO2.
Yes, butane is even lower than duster.
Let me put it this way: if you wanted to blow dust off your computer components, the last thing you're gonna grab to blow gas out is a Bic lighter... the pressure that comes out of that is so mediocre, I could blow harder with a straw.
Not at 20 feet range... you wouldn't see a 1 foot deviation unless you're shooting during a hurricane... Even with a dirty barrel, I can't imagine deviation like that from such a short distance. The only thing I can think of is shooter error.

I got the silicone lube from an airsoft supply store, don't worry

. If by flushed the mag you mean emptied it and re-filled with propane, then yeah, I did that. Butane never stayed in the mag very long.
Maybe it wasn't 1 foot, but it had to be at least 6". Could have been error on my part. I only shot 4-5 mags worth of BBs, so I'll see how it performs in the future.
