A-TACs work in progress, gearbox is currently getting fall maintenence and rewired to Dean. She's been through about 30-40 games in the past year without a single failure. I'll get a Hi-Res pic once that's done.
All controls (mag release, selector etc.) are being left black, as are the buffer tube, grip, pad on the end of the stock, scope controls (zoom and illumination), scope rings and the HK logo on the suppressor.
The internals of the gun are a stock KWA 2nd gen gearbox with a 455 mm prometheus 6.03 and shoots a crisp 396-403 fps with .20's.
Externally is a King Arms ModStock, Unknown JPRifles front end (Madbull I think, but it was just an extra part lying around so don't know for sure), HK trademarked suppressor. The scope is a Tasco 3-9x by 50. Not shown is RockShot 6-9 inch bipod.
Edit, for anyone interested in the process:
Base Coat: Grey Primer
Second Coat: Marsh Grass Camo Paint
Third Coat: Dusting of Tan Krylon
Fourth Coat: Brown Krylon, sponged onto about 50% of surface
Fifth Coat: Various mixes of Greens (Emerald green and OD), Tans (Tan and Marsh Grass) and Brown (Mud Brown and Brown) in subdued tones
Sixth Coat: Very light dusting Tan Krylon
At this point the gun had a lot of the mid tones found in A-TACs but enough variety to break up the shape
Seventh Coat: Tan Krylon sponged carefully into areas I felt needed "highlights"
Eighth Coat: Brown Krylon sponged carefull into areas I felt needed "shadows"
Ninth Coat: 50/50 mix of Brown and Tan Krylon sponged carefully onto areas that had "hard lines" to soften the profile without comprimising the contrast of lights and darks
