Well, see the problem is that the bar they use is alot thinner than the inside of the stock, so when the pressure is applied it allows it to twist and unlock from the teeth, If you electrical tape the left side (when looking at the bar from the top) you can use the tape as a shim and use as much as needed and it will remove the massive amount of extra space giving it enough room to slide but not twist and the tab should stay in the teeth.
