So, if your like me and own the WE Scar you know it has its many problems...
Some smaller others larger. Im hear to tell you how to easily fix one of the smaller ones. If your stock collapses when it is fully extended and any type of pressure is put on it, have no fear its not permantely broken. Its quick and easy to fix.
So step 1, Fold your stock over and remove the single allen screw. Then pull on the rear of the stock until it slides out from the the larger section>>>
Step Two, Pull the pin out(dont loose the clip) and remove the rubber pad>>>>>
Step three, Push down on the collapsing button and pull out the steel rod.
Step Four, Now you will notice that on the steel rod, at one end there is a tab bent up that locks into your collapsing button (allows for adjustment) What you want to do is get some electrical tape and run one strip down the front and back of the bar Vertically, on the opposite side of the tab. (if you pull the bar out and have it facing up, you'll want to tape the left side. I dont know why I took a picture of it upside down)>>>>>
Step Five, Reassemble.
The bar floats around in the stock rather loosely, so when pressure is applied the bar just leans to the left and comes "unlocked" from the button causing your stock to collapse. The tape is on the left side to act as a spacer and close the gap between stock and bar. That way when pressure is applied the bar doesnt move and stock doesnt collapse unless you hit the button. Its quick cheap and simple.
